Once accepted, applicants must enroll, for no more than three years, as full-time students in the "PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Chile and PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham" programs, with the objective of obtaining the degree of "PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Chile and PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham".

One of the main objectives is that the students carry out frontier research at both universities, with a minimum of one year of permanence in each of them.

To this end, students will be assigned a PhD project which will be jointly supervised by academics from both universities.

 

 

To join this double degree doctoral program, applicants must pass the qualifying examination of the University of Nottingham or the University of Chile, as well as submit to the review and approval of the applicant's background by the postgraduate committee or equivalent at the partner university. In addition, in order to comply with UK immigration requirements, students from the University of Chile must demonstrate English language proficiency before traveling to England.
